Wigton Carnival Dance
The Wigton Carnival Dance, once the head of every Wigton Carnival procession, had not been performed in the carnival since its revival in 1999. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the revival, we were determined to bring the carnival dance back. With the help of Sue Allan, we taught the dance to a new generation and they danced their socks off in the 2024 carnival procession.
